Camping over the 4th of July

Everyone joined mom and dad camping in Holland to celebrate the 4th of July. Ryan is a true camper...we are very excited! The only bad thing was Ryan has not started walking yet, so his hands and knees were covered with dirt the whole weekend!

June - Little Tiger

June - Silly Ryan

Ryan always seems to get his second wind after bathtime.

Mark Allen Kuipers is born!

On May 14, the Kuipers family welcomed another little boy! Justin & Natalie were very excited to meet their new little brother!

Tulip Time in Holland

Grandma & Grandpa joined all the grandkids (minus Justin, who had to be in school) in Holland for the Kinderparade, which is part of the Tulip Time festivities. It was a beautiful day, full of sunshine! I tried getting a couple pictures of Ryan by the tulips, but he was more interested in trying to eat them!

Swim Class at the YMCA

Ryan is taking swim classes with his friend, Sarah Valk. He loves playing in the water and splashing around. He has absolutely no fear in the pool and trys to crawl to the "deep end".

Ryan Turns One...Again!

Ryan had birthday party #2 with his cousin, Justin, who turned 7! He enjoyed opening his gifts and got lots of help from his cousin Natalie. Ryan & Natalie also enjoyed singing together...okay, Ryan just liked to suck on the microphone.

Ryan did much better with his birthday cake at party #2. He was stripped down to his diaper and boy, did he go to town!?! Grandma Bultman was a little concerned about all the cake that was being thrown on the carpet! Nonetheless, Ryan had a wonderful time!

Ryan Turns One!

We celebrated Ryan's 1st birthday on Friday, April 20! Grandma & Grandpa Wiers, Todd, Great-Grandma Wiers & Great-Aunt Barb all joined us. Ryan loved being the center of attention! He is getting very good at walking behind his walker, but hasn't taken any steps on his own yet.

Ryan got his very own cake with sprinkles for his b-day, but he wasn't quite sure what to do with it. I helped him out by smearing some whipped cream on his face. Sadly, I think Sadie ate more of the cake...which Ryan threw on the ground.

April - Aunt Taiya Visits

Taiya came home to visit for the weekend (thanks Dave...her wonderful boyfriend that bought her the ticket home). We had many meals together, went bowling, and ate at the Chinese Buffet...yummy! Taiya loved spending time with Ryan and was very entertained by watching him crawl, spit his food out, and show his muscles. It was beautiful and sunny the day she left so we were able to get some nice pictures outside.
